Every once in a while an artist comes along that makes one stand up, take notice and deserves to be celebrated. This is true about Judy Trujillo. A Massachusetts sea glass artist and retired art teacher who spends her days combing the beaches of the North Shore in Massachusetts in search of beach finds to incorporate into her magnificent works of art including the sea glass stained glass window featured here. Her sea glass and pottery shard murals are a breathtaking explosion of creativity. I consider myself fortunate to be a friend of Judy's as she is an inspiration and joy to share a day at the beach with. It is like witnessing art in motion as she whips up action figures creating a scene from sea weed and shells just one of her many talents. Judy is an inspiration as one can tell it is her "love of art" that drives her inexhaustible creative energy. A sheer delight for this artist to behold.Judy's works are on display at the Kennedy's Studio in Swampscott, MA. Or you can contact her through the North East Sea Glass Society a group of sea glass enthusiasts and artists. Member ship is free and all are welcome!
