Half Baked by the Sun & It's Okay! ~ Sea Glass the Journey

I don't know about you, but it took me a long time to come to the hard realization that the person I want to be is always and will always be a work in progress. A continuum to strive to be the best inside and out and then always the proverbial two steps backwards. Never to be discouraged though because I share this realization with every other human being on this planet. This is our life long journey.

Like this piece of sea glass that has been darkened on one end due to prolonged sun exposure while the other end was apparently embedded either under the sand or a rock. The mysteriously stunning dark line of demarcation separates the two colors. It is a beautiful piece of sea glass and so too are we beautiful, even if we are half baked.

You will find this piece in my gallery!

  1. Wow! What a find! Thanks for posting and blogging. I'm on MA southcoast and although I've found a few *wow's*, nothing like that one. Beauty.

  2. This most certainly is a unique original. The color is stunning. Interestingly the more we delve into ourselves the more we realize we are a work in progress. :)
